South Central Railways (SCR) has expanded its express train services by adding 66 additional general class coaches. Another 80 general class coaches are planned to be introduced in a phased manner.
The additional coaches have been provided on important trains operating on key routes to Guntur, Nizamuddin, Tirupati, Kakinada, Danapur, Machilipatnam, Yesvantapur, Nanded, and Madurai. The coaches will be added
to 19 Express trains, at the rate of two per train.
