Hyderabad: South Central Railways has conducted a review meeting on train safety and ongoing station redevelopment works taken up under the Central government’s Amrit Bharat scheme.
The meeting attended by Arun Kumar Jain, general manager, along with all principal heads, was to ensure timely completion of the ongoing works. He instructed officials to ensure that the projects meet the requirements of the next 40 years.
He instructed the officials to focus on the upcoming passenger amenities, local art and culture, facade design, station connectivity, parking area, pickup and dropping facilities. He also advised them to create space for recreation and commercial space as per the guidelines issued by the Railway Board.
