Hyderabad: A speeding Land Rover Defender SUV met with an accident after it rammed into a median at Hi-tech City on Thursday night.
The police are suspecting that the accident could have occurred when the driver drove the vehicle in a drunken condition at high speed. The passersby said a group of youngsters inside the vehicle escaped unhurt and left the spot after the accident.
Using a crane, the police lifted the SUV from the spot and ensured smooth flow of the traffic. The police are verifying CCTV footage at the spot to ascertain the cause of the accident.
