Talasani Denies Family’s Link to Dilawarpur Ethanol Plant
HYDERABAD: Former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday said none from his family was involved in any manner with an ethanol plant that was to come up at Dilawarpur in Nirmal district, and that Congress leaders were levelling baseless accusations at him.
Speaking with reporters, Talasani said minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, and TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud were accusing him because his son was allegedly a director in the company.
“My son was one of the eight directors in a company running a distillery in Rajahmundry but he resigned from that position in 2016. The Congress leaders are going around showing documents from that period to accuse me of wrongdoing. I, or my family, have nothing to do with the Dilawarpur ethanol plant,” he said.
