Telangana: 3 Including Pharmacists Held for Selling Fentanyl and Ketamine

Hyderabad: Huge stocks of fentanyl, ketamine, pentazocine and midazolam injections were stocked by a repeat NDPS offender. Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, carried out a joint operation along with Prohibition and Excise Department and busted the network and apprehended four including pharmacists.

According to the officials, the prime accused Neha Bhagwat is identified as the supplier who further sells it to various entities in the state that do not possess licences to stock and sell Narcotic Drugs, potentially leading to their abuse. The supplier stocks the drugs in her residence at Moula Ali.

Neha supplies drugs to Rajender Singh Saluja, owner of GV Saluja Hospital who is on the run.

The teams further apprehended P. Gopinath, Surendra Singh Ghusia and B. Srinivas affiliated with the Salija Hospital. While three more absconding, the teams also raided other hospitals and pharmacies where Neha is allegedly supplying the drug.

Initial investigation revealed that Neha is already charged with NDPS cases twice and was released in September 2024 and still continued to deliver the drugs to various hospitals and pharmacies. It is also revealed that she leicires the drugs from one Dinesh from Pioneer Drug House located in Ganeshpet in Nagpur.

Police apprehended the four NDPS offenders and are investigating further.
