Telangana Assembly passes Bhubharathi Bill replacing Dharani portal
Hyderabad: Telangana Assembly here on Friday passed Bhubharathi Bill replacing Dharani portal, which touted as a one-stop destination for agricultural land transactions.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who tabled the Bill in the house, said, “I am happy that the Bill was passed in the House and thanked everyone for giving him the opportunity.” He slammed the Leader of Opposition (LoP) and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) for failing to attend the session to give his valuable suggestions to the State government to incorporate in the Bill.
He criticized the BRS MLAs for attempting to stall the Bill and added that in spite of knowing that there were several errors in Dharani portal, KCR failed to make changes for the benefit of people. People faced several problems since the commencement of the portal, he added. After the Bill was passed, the Speaker Gaddam Prasada adjourned the House for Saturday.
