Hyderabad: A bus carrying Ayyappa devotees from Hyderabad met with a tragic accident on Thursday in Kerala while en route to Pamba. The accident resulted in the death of the driver and injuries to several passengers.
The devotees, hailing from Madannapet in Hyderabad, were treated at a hospital in Kottayam. In a video statement, the devotees expressed gratitude to MoS and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay for ensuring timely medical assistance and facilitating the free transportation of the driver’s body back to Hyderabad.
The postmortem of the deceased driver has been completed, and the body was sent back in an ambulance. The devotees confirmed they are safe after receiving medical care.
