Telangana Bans Gutkha, Pan masala which contains tobacco and nicotine
Hyderabad: The state government of Telangana has imposed a one-year ban on Gutka and Pan Masala starting May 24.
According to an order issued by the Commissioner of Food Safety, the manufacture, storage, distribution, transportation, and sale of Gutka and Pan Masala containing tobacco and nicotine are prohibited throughout the state. The ban applies to these products in all forms, including sachets, pouches, packages, and containers.
