Telangana: Bhatti Urges Graduates To Serve Nation With Team Spirit

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday exhorted students to set an example by winning the hearts of people and learn to work with team spirit. He called on them to work for the country.

Addressing the first convocation of Mohan Babu University in Tirupati, he said, “Extending education free of cost to 25 per cent of the students by Mohan Babu from the beginning is laudable.” Bhatti praised Mohan Babu for playing a stellar role with social responsibility in the film and education sectors.

“Mohan Babu has set an example in the film industry and earned a name as an artiste after NTR. His journey starting from a PET (physical education teacher) to a Padma Shri awardee is remarkable,” Bhatti said. Teaching ethics to students as part of the curriculum is a welcome sign,” Bhatti said and added that it was his first visit to the campus.

He encouraged the students to see that their lives were useful to more people. “The journey from now on will be different as you were so far reliant on your parents financially,” he told the graduating students.

Referring to forging of relationships on campus, he felt that the university encouraged developing personal bonds between the students and teachers. “This is part of the gurukul system which is Indian culture,” he noted.
