Telangana: Boy Found Dead, Drunkard Held for Murder, Assault

Adilabad: The body of a minor boy, 14, was found in a pool of blood in the bushes near Chinthala tank on the outskirts of Chityal village in Nirmal rural mandal on Saturday morning. A police investigation revealed that a habitual drunkard and homosexual killed the boy after assaulting him.
On being alerted, Nirmal police led by SP Janaki Sharmila visited the crime scene on Saturday and formed a special team to trace the accused. The police used a sniffer dog and CLUES team to investigate the incident and took one villager into custody.
Janaki Sharmila informed the media on Sunday that they arrested one Thokala Rajeshwar of the same village who was a habitual drunkard and homosexual.
The accused who was in an inebriated condition, killed the minor boy brutally fearing that he would tell the villagers or his parents on Friday midnight. Additional SP Upender Reddy, ASP Rajesh Meena, inspector Ramakrishna, CCS inspector Krishna, SIs Limbadri, Sandeep and Sai Kiran were present at the press meet.
