Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has cancelled his proposed tour to Australia, scheduled for January 14 and 16, to attend the inauguration of the All India Congress Committee office in New Delhi on January 15.
He will continue with Singapore and Davos tours as planned earlier. The Chief Minister will leave for Singapore on January 17. After a two day visit, he would proceed to Davos to attend the World Economic Forum meetings between January 19 and 23.
Sources close to the Chief Minister told Deccan Chronicle that his stay in the national capital and meetings scheduled with party top brass would be crucial as Revanth Reddy would discuss issues relating to party and government and obtain concrete plan of action from the central leadership.
“The Chief Ministers wants to bring clarity on various pending issues including the filling up of vacancies in cabinet and local body polls,” sources said.
