Kothagudem: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will launch Sitarama lift irrigation scheme, constructed across the Godavari, at Dummugudem in the district on August 15.
At a review meeting with officials. irrigation minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said all arrangements have been made for launching the project.
Three pump houses of the project would be operated on August 15. The state government has sent a proposal to Godavari River Management Board for allocation of 67 tmc ft of water for the Sitarama scheme from the Godavari.
