Telangana collaborates with BEE, EESL, TERI for energy efficiency
The government has entered into collaboration with prominent national institutions like the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Energy Efficient Services Limited (EESL) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) to drive energy efficiency programmes including Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment).

Hyderabad: The government has entered into collaboration with prominent national institutions like the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Energy Efficient Services Limited (EESL) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) to drive energy efficiency programmes including Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment).
Mission LiFE includes renewable energy, energy efficiency and water management focused on boosting economic growth, ensuring energy security and improving the quality life of citizens. As part of this initiative, the state has recently supported a memorandum of understanding with TERI to establish a world-class Centre of Excellence in Energy Transition (CoEET) in Hyderabad.
This landmark initiative aims to combat climate change while enhancing energy efficiency and economic development, as per a statement issued by BEE.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka received a copy of a special report on Mission LiFE from A. Chandra Sekhara Reddy, media adviser (southern states/UTs), BEE, in the presence of V. Anila, managing director and vice-chairperson of TGREDCO.
On the occasion, Bhatti stressed the urgent need to raise awareness about energy and water conservation. He emphasised that public participation is extremely crucial for economic growth and protecting the planet for future generations.
