Telangana: Congress govt launches Young India Schools Initiative

Warangal: In keeping with its priority to education and health sectors, the Congress government is establishing Young India Residential Schools (YIRS) to impart standard education to students, revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said.
The minister, accompanied by government chief whip and Dornakal MLA Ramchander Naik, Mahabubabad MP Porika Balram Naik, MLA Murali Naik, laid the foundation stone for the YIRS at Koravi mandal in Mahabubabad district on Sunday.
Earlier, the minister laid the foundation stone for the establishment of AMRUT, a pure drinking water supplying centre and inaugurated Mahila Shakti Canteen along with a model anganwadi centre in Maripeda mandal.
The integrated residential school will be constructed over 26 acres at par with corporate schools along with providing high quality education to students.Besides studies, schools will concentrate on sports and other activities to develop the creative and innovative skills among students.
In every school campus, there will be specially designed classrooms, laboratories, computer centres, libraries, auditoriums, indoor sports along with special playgrounds for playing cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, outdoor gym, theatres, landscape courts and many other facilities.The Congress gives the praja palana government and will work as per the aspirations of people.
In every house, children should shine not only with their education but with various other talents, he added.
