Telangana Employees Protest Over Attack on Vikarabad Collector
Hyderabad: Telangana Employees JAC held dharnas in front of the collectorates across the state, seeking action against those responsible for the attack on Vikarabad collector Pratheek Jain. The JAC sought steps to avoid recurrence of such incidents.
JAC chairman V. Latchi Reddy, speaking at a dharna outside the Hyderabad collectorate, said: “The conspiracy behind the attack should be unveiled. The revelations that are coming out in the police inquiry are startling and can cause fear among the employees who discharge their duties irrespective of political leanings. The official who sustained serious injuries did not get to hear any comforting words from anyone.”
