CM inaugurates HCL Tech new 3.2 lakh sft campus

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that Telangana has emerged as the top investment destination for both domestic and multinational companies within a year of the Congress government coming to power. The state also leads in job creation across the country, he added.

Speaking at the inauguration of HCL Tech's 3.2-lakh square feet Global Delivery Centre in Hyderabad on Monday, Revanth Reddy said, "I'm delighted to inaugurate the HCL Tech campus in Hyderabad. The state government has been signing MoUs with multinational companies and ensuring the inauguration of new facilities as per our agreements throughout the year."

Highlighting Telangana's rapid growth, the Chief Minister said, "Telagnana state and the city of Hyderabad are developing at the fastest pace in the country. It is a proud moment that Telangana has attracted the highest investments from domestic and multinational companies in just a year and has also become number one in job creation. Our state boasts the highest artificial intelligence adoption and the lowest inflation."

Revanth Reddy reiterated his ambitious goal of making Telangana a one-trillion-dollar GDP state. "Some doubted my vision. They said it was impossible. But after signing MoUs worth Rs 41,000 crore and Rs 1.78 lakh crore during my two trips to Davos, they now understand that my goal is not just a dream but a reality in the making. No one can stop the Telangana Rising."

He stressed Hyderabad’s growing prominence in key sectors, stating, "When I said that our competition is not with Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, or Chennai, many doubted me. But today, Hyderabad is leading in EV adoption and establishing itself as a hub for data centres, green energy, life sciences, biotechnology, skill development, manufacturing, and agri-processing."

Referring to Telangana’s recent achievements, Revanth Reddy noted, "A few days ago, we launched Amgen, one of the world's largest life sciences companies. We just hosted BioAsia, one of the world's best conferences. Today, we are launching another major facility with HCL Tech."

He praised HCL Tech as a global leader in digital, engineering, cloud, and artificial intelligence technologies, operating in 60 countries with over 2.2 lakh employees. "Since HCL arrived in Hyderabad in 2007, it has grown step by step. Now, with this new 3.2 lakh square feet world-class facility, 5,000 more jobs will be created, further strengthening the city’s IT ecosystem. HCL Tech is performing extraordinarily in Hyderabad," he said.
