Vikarabad is already a popular destination for eco-tourism, scenic natural beauty, trekking, and boating. The famous Yadagirigutta Narasimha Swamy Temple captivates visitors in the realm of spiritual tourism with its rich cultural heritage. Asia's largest Buddhist heritage theme park at Nagarjunasagar, spanning 274 acres, is also attracting a large number of foreign tourists from various countries.
The state government is formulating plans to establish a specialised management body dedicated to overseeing selected iconic tourism destinations. The destination management organisation will focus exclusively on administration, visitor management, provision of amenities, and continuous developmental activities at the tourism centre.
