Telangana Govt announces State awards for Junior college principals, lecturers
Hyderabad: The state government has announced state awards for junior college principals and lecturers, recognising their outstanding contributions to the Intermediate Education system, on the eve of Teachers Day. The Department of Intermediate Education, led by the commissioner, finalised the list based on recommendations from a committee.
The principals who were conferred the awards were: G. Venkataiah (Wardhannapet, Warangal), Meetakoti Simhachalam (Enkoor, Khammam), Syed Abdul Hameed (Kothapeta, Rangareddy), and P. Sampath Kumar (Narsampet, Warangal).
The junior lecturers honoured were Dr. N. Praveen Raju (Malakpet, Hyderabad), Dr. L. Komura Reddy (Narsampet, Warangal), Dr. Baburao (Sangareddy), Dr. V. Shekaraiah (Saroornagar, Rangareddy), Dr. R.U. Shilpa (Choutuppal, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri), Md Khursheed Ahmed (Manuguru, Bhadradri Kothagudem), and N. Naresh (Nawabpet, Vikarabad).
