Telangana Govt. to hold crucial meeting on arrangements for Moharram
Hyderabad: The State government will conduct a meeting with the community members and officials from departments concerned on June 28 at 4 pm at Secretariat Conference Hall to review the arrangements to be made for the smooth conduct of Moharram-2024.
The meeting to be chaired by the CMO Secretary is part of ongoing commitment to ensure the smooth and respectful observance of Moharram, which holds significant importance in the Islamic calendar.
The primary focus of the meeting will be to discuss and coordinate the necessary arrangements for Moharram 2024, ensuring all activities are conducted in a peaceful and organized manner. Crucial topics of discussion will include security measures, traffic management, and the provision of essential services to support the community during the important period and release of amount for Ashoorkhana, Anjuman's, Sabeel's, Elephant and Nazar Dhatti.
The State government values the input and cooperation of the community in making the observance of Moharram a safe event for all participants. The government would look forward to a productive dialogue and the successful implementation of the plans discussed, officials said.
