Telangana Govt transfers several IAS officers, 20 Districts get new collectors
Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle of IAS officers, the state government on Saturday appointed new collectors for 20 districts amid reports that a bigger shake-up of senior officials was on the anvil.
This is the first major reshuffle of collectors undertaken by the Congress government after assuming office in December 2023.
No postings were given to a few collectors in some key districts after they were transferred, like Dasari Harichandana, Pamela Satpathy, Ila Tripathi and Bhavesh Mishra.
They are likely to be posted at the state level during the reshuffle of IAS officers that is expected very soon.
The new collectors are as follows
Muzammil Khan: Khammam
Badavath Santhosh: Nagarkurnool
Sandeep Kumar Jha, joint managing director, Transco: Sircilla
Anuraag Jayanti: Karimnagar
Ashish Sangwan: Kamareddy
Jitesh V. Patil: Kothagudem
Rahul Sharma: Bhupalpally
Koya Sree Harsha: Peddapalli
P. Pravinya: Hanamkonda
Budumajii Satya Prasad: Jagtial
B. Vijiendra, special secretary, transport, roads and buildings: Mahbubnagar
Kumar Deepak: Mancherial
Prateek Jain, project officer, ITDA Bhadrachalam: Vikarabad
Narayana Reddy: Nalgonda
Adarsh Surabhi, Khammam municipal commissioner: Wanaparthy
Tejas Nandlal Pawar: Suryapet
M. Satya Sarada Devi, joint secretary, agriculture and cooperation:
Warangal in the place of P Pravinya.
