Telangana HC Orders Action on JHCHS President’s Disqualification
Hyderabad: In a row over the disqualification of Jubilee Hills Co-Operative Housing Society Limited (JHCHS) president, the Telangana High Court on Wednesday directed the commissioner for cooperation and registrar of cooperative societies to verify the records of the membership obtained by the present president B. Ravindranath and initiate suitable action.
Justice T. Madhavi Devi has denied the request of the officials of the cooperative societies to not specify the time period to take action and directed them that whatever action must be initiated within six weeks.
The judge was dealing with a petition filed by Jyothi Prasad Kosaraju and K. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, the members of the society, who alleged that the commissioner of the cooperation and registrar of cooperative societies was not taking action on their representation.
