Telangana HC reserves orders on pre-bail of Allu Arjun`s staff

Hyderabad:Manager and personal security guard of film actor Allu Arjun approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the criminal case registered against them at Chikkadpally police station, in connection with the Sandhya Theater stampede incident.

Adla Sharath Chandra Naidu, manager, and Cheruku Ramesh, security guard, submitted to the court that the allegations in the FIR and remand report fail to attribute specific acts that would constitute the offenses alleged against them.

The petitioners also submitted that they did not involve any unlawful activities during the visit to the cinema theater and police had registered the case without application of mind. Their counsel argued that his clients were to be protected from undue harassment, humiliation or unjustified detention.

As their anticipatory bail pleas were dismissed by the criminal court at Hyderabad, the petitioners approached the High Court. Justice K. Sujana heard the petitions and after conclusion of the arguments, reserved the orders.
