Hyderabad: Justice T. Vinod Kumar of Telangana High Court ordered personal appearance of the Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commissioner (GHMC) and the Assistant City Planner, circle 06, in a contempt case pertaining to inaction against illegal and unauthorised constructions.
The direction came in response to a contempt case filed by Syed Suhail, alleging wilful non-compliance of the orders passed by the judge earlier. Earlier a writ plea was preferred by the petitioner challenging inaction against illegal and unauthorised constructions.
It was further alleged that the unofficial respondent was encroaching onto the public road and footpath, grave yard in respect of premises situated at Kurmuguda, Saidabad, Hyderabad. After considering the speaking order passed by the respondent authorities holding the construction made by the unofficial respondent to be unauthorised and illegal construction, the judge closed the writ plea as the authorities would take further action against the unofficial respondent.
The petitioner in present contempt would allege that the respondent authorities failed to take any action against the unofficial respondents and are guilty of contempt. After hearing the counsel for the petitioner, the judge issued Form-I notice to the respondent authorities and posted the matter for further adjudication.
