Telangana MLA Inspects Dharmapuri Health Centre
Karimnagar: The state government made all arrangements to take care of the increasing number of patients admitting to government hospitals in view of the spurt in viral fevers in the state, said government chief whip and Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Laxman Kumar on Thursday.
The chief whip inspected a community health centre where he visited various wards, interacted with patients and inquired from health officials on availability of medicines, testing labs and beds available in the hospital in Dharmapuri town of Jagtial district.
The officials informed the MLA that there is a requirement for advanced medical equipment, beds and trained staff. Responding to their requests, the MLA assured them that the government would fulfil all requirements needed at the hospital.
The MLA also informed them that he would take initiative for inauguration of a Mother and Child Health Care Centre.
In view of the outbreak of seasonal diseases, health officials must be on high alert and keep the wards and surroundings hygienic, he suggested.
