Telangana: Nurses Demand Separate Directorate in JAC Meeting
Hyderabad: The Telangana Nurses Association TNA demanded a separate directorate and timely payments of their salaries during a preparatory meeting of the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee. The meeting, with 53 unions attending, was chaired by Telangana Joint Government Organisations president Maram Jagadishwar
The other demands of the TNA included repeal of the contributory pension scheme and implementation of the old pension scheme, release of pending Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears. Pending bills for employees, teachers, and pensioners should be cleared immediately, the members said.
After deliberating on the issues affecting employees, teachers, workers, and pensioners, the JAC approved these resolutions which will be presented to the government for discussion, and the next course of action will be decided in the upcoming meeting.
