Hyderabad: The Avantika Telangana Run 2026 was held on Sunday at the HMDA Grounds as part of Telangana Formation Day celebrations, drawing large participation across categories.
Organised by the Society for Telangana Runners, the event featured 21-km, 10-km, 5-km and 2-km races, with the route passing along Tank Bund. The organisers said the event aimed to promote fitness and healthy living.
Avantika Construction Group managing director Yennam Srinivas Reddy said such initiatives help raise awareness about health and encourage a disciplined lifestyle.
Society for Telangana Runners president Srinivas Maggari and general secretary Jagan Mohan Reddy said the organisation would continue to promote fitness activities and expand the running culture in the state.
