Hyderabad: Families of Singareni pensioners staying in the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) colonies held a dharna in front of the old GM office protesting cut of power supply to their houses in Bellampalli in Macherial district on Saturday.
The families alleged that SCCL had stopped the power to 1,000 houses for a week in Bellampalli and appealed to the management to restore supply.
The retired employees’ families are living in Singareni areas while some stay in Singareni quarters. Some have got pattas for their houses on Singareni land.
