Telangana: Special invigilators for Group-1 prelims to prevent impersonation
NIZAMABAD: The district administration has made arrangements for smooth conduct of Group-I preliminary examination in Nizamabad on June 9. Around 12,833 candidates will appear for the exam in 41 centres in the town.
To avoid any incident near examination centres, the police will promulgate ban orders under section section 144.
However, chief superintendents, departmental officers, invigilators, route officers will participate in the examination duties.
The preliminary exam will start at 10.30 on Sunday and end at 1 noon. In view of the biometric attendance, candidates may reach the examination centre two hours before the start of the examination.
Xerox centres near Group-1 preliminary examination centres will be closed during the exam time.
District collector Rajiv Gandhi directed the officials to proved drinking water, uninterrupted power supply and first aid facilities at the examination centres. He also said that TGSRTC officials run the buses as per the convenience of Group-1 exam candidates.
Additional collector Kiran Kumar said that every candidate should be thoroughly checked during the Group-1 preliminary examinations. To avoid impersonation, 50 candidates and their credentials will be verifies by each invigilator.
