Warangal: The SR university bagged 98th place in the national institutional ranking framework (NIRF) ranking in the engineering category situated here at Ananthasagar in Hasanparthy mandal of Hanamkonda district.
Expressing happiness for its achievement, the chairman of the university A.Varada Reddy said the NIRF, which was approved by the MHRD in 2015, identifies the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions in the country. The parameters broadly cover ‘teaching, learning, resources, research, professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity and perception.
SR university is the only private university in Telangana state which bagged below 100 rank issued by NIRF and positioned in the rank and 101-150 in the university category and in the rank band 151-200 in overall category among all private universities across the country, he added.
Vice-chancellor Prof. Deepak Garg said the university’s continuing growth demonstrated its commitment to academics, placements, research and innovation. The institute was able to achieve this honor due to the core values embedded into the curriculum, creativity, entrepreneurship.
The VC congratulated the faculty members, staff and students and appreciated their efforts and hard work which has resulted in achieving 98th rank in NIRF.
