Terrorism Almost Wiped Out in Kashmir: Kishan Reddy
Hyderabad: BJP state president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said the Centre had been crushing the activities of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the terrorists with an iron hand and had managed to curtail the terror activities in the entire Valley except one district.
Giving away the appointment letters to 180 youth as part of the Centre’s Rozgar Mela, at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at King Koti on Tuesday, Kishan Reddy said the Centre has decided to give utmost priority to youth and use their potential in the next 25 years to make India as Viksit Bharat.
This Rozgar Mela was the 10th by the Centre with a target to provide employment to 12 lakh people in the country through such melas. On Tuesday, the Centre provided appointment letters to 51,000 youths across the country.
“So far, 8.5 lakh youth were given appointment letters in these melas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started the Rozgar Mela on Deepavali on October 22, 2022,” the minister informed. He claimed the Modi government had introduced the New Education Policy (NEP) after a gap of 33 years by taking suggestions and opinions from 3 lakh people under the chairmanship of K. Kasturirangan, former ISRO chairman.
“The NEP gives utmost priority to science and technology and artificial intelligence and introduced those subjects in the curriculum. India is now exporting defense products to 75 countries. Industrial corridors have been set up in different corners of the country to achieve self-sufficiency and check imports of defense products. The introduction of Vande Bharat trains, which have world-class technology, is a great achievement,” he explained.
