TG seeks info of irregularities in HCA affairs

Hyderabad: The state government on Friday sought details of the irregularities in Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) following directions from Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Former employees, who were harassed by the HCA management, lodged a complaint with the President, Chief Minister and the CBI to look into the issue. Hours after the President’s office received the complaint, P.C. Meena, under secretary at Rashtrapati Bhavan, directed Chief Secretary A. Shanthi Kumari to look into the issue and take measures following the contents of the complaint.
Immediately, Shanthi Kumari, who is on an official tour in the USA, contacted the complainants.
Officials from the President's office said in the email to the Chief Secretary that they find appropriate attention to an email petition addressed to the President, which is self-explanatory.
Action taken on the petition may please be communicated to the petitioner directly, it said. The Chief Secretary asked the complainants to meet her at the Secretariat here on Wednesday.
