TGBIE mandates CCTV monitoring, strict protocols for upcoming Intermediate exams

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has asked District intermediate education ifficers (DIEOs) and examination officials to make all arrangements for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), which will begin on March 5.

Hyderabad:The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has asked District intermediate education ifficers (DIEOs) and examination officials to make all arrangements for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), which will begin on March 5.

TGBIE secretary Krishna Aditya S. reviewed the preparations with board officials and district examination committee (DEC) members. DECs were asked to hold coordination meetings with district collectors to sort out infrastructure requirements at examination centres.

Officials were directed to maintain strict security at strong rooms, with custodians and departmental officers overseeing question paper storage and distribution. CCTV cameras must be installed in all examination centres, and experienced staff will be deployed for exam duties.

The meeting also covered verification of examination staff details to avoid errors, district-wise and centre-wise inspection of security arrangements, and better coordination among officials to maintain a smooth and disturbance-free environment.

The secretary said that meticulous planning and strict monitoring were crucial to maintaining transparency and efficiency in the exams.
