TGGenco Earns ISO 9001:2015 Certification
The certification was presented by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday night.
HYDERABAD: Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TGGenco) has received international recognition for its commitment to quality, efficiency and continuous improvement by achieving the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification.
The certification was presented by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday night. The ceremony was conducted under the supervision of Energy special secretary Naveen Mittal, and the certificate was received by the organisation’s chairman and managing director, Harish.
This recognition followed a comprehensive audit conducted by an independent ISO certification body. As part of the audit process, the team thoroughly examined all departments and operational units within TGGenco. The evaluation focused on compliance with ISO documentation, department‑wise performance, operational effectiveness, achievement of organisational objectives and the implementation of quality management systems.
After confirming that each department adheres to international standards and follows best practices, approval was granted for the certification. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister praised TGGenco, stating that the recognition is a testament to the organisation’s high‑quality services and robust management systems.
The event was also attended by SPDCL chairman and managing director Jitendra V. Patil and ISO representative Shivayya.
