Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS) celebrated the 78th Independence Day at its head office, with Faheem Uddin Qureshi, society president and vice-chairman, hoisting the National Flag.
Qureshi, while honoring freedom-fighters, highlighted the need for a collective effort towards the development and uplift of the oppressed, especially the minorities. Qureshi also distributed compassionate appointment orders to family members of deceased society employees who had lost their lives while on duty.
