TGOA demand DA Release, OPS Restoration
Hyderabad: The Telangana Gazetted Officers Association (TGOA), Hyderabad district branch, demanded the immediate release of four pending dearness allowance (DA) instalments and called for the implementation of the employee health scheme (EHS) with equal contributions from the government and employees.
At a meeting here on Thursday, the association also demanded the restoration of the old pension scheme (OPS) and the swift release of the second pay revision commission (PRC) report.
Other demands included clearing pending dues, reviving district-level staff councils and appointing more employees to reduce the burden on existing staff in Hyderabad.
The association also requested the allocation of 1,000 square yards of land in Hyderabad for its office building. The meeting concluded with a proposal to have Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the association’s diary and calendar by December 31.
TGOA president M.B. Krishna Yadav, general secretary Mohammed Abdul Khadar, state leaders Eluri Srinivasa Rao, A. Satyanarayana and other officer bearers participated in the meeting.
