Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Friday said the Group 1 Services mains will be held from October 21 to 27 in Hyderabad, including the HMDA. The exam, with conventional and descriptive-type papers, is scheduled to take place daily from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates will begin with the General English (Qualifying Test) on October 21, Paper-I on General Essay the next day to be followed by History, Culture, and Geography in Paper-II. Paper-III focusing on Indian Society, Constitution, and Governance has been scheduled for October 24.
Economy and Development will be the subject of Paper-IV on October 25, Science & Technology and Data Interpretation on October 26 and Paper-VI, which will test candidates’ knowledge of the Telangana Movement and State Formation, on the last day.
The TSPSC will issue personalised answer booklets to each candidate. These booklets will include pre-printed details and a photograph of the candidate. Sample answer booklets for all seven papers will be available on the TSPSC’s official website from August 17.
Additionally, the instructions that will be printed on the hall tickets are also made available on the Commission’s website. The TSPSC has emphasised the importance of adhering to all guidelines, warning that non-compliance could result in the rejection or invalidation of a candidate’s examination.
The commission has made it clear that it will not entertain any complaints or appeals regarding violations of the instructions provided on the hall tickets or answer booklets. Therefore, candidates must pay close attention to these guidelines to ensure their eligibility remains intact.
