TGSPDCL Assistant Divisional Engineer held in bribe case in Gachibowli
TGSPDCL ADE held at his chamber in Gachibowli
Hyderabad: Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) (Operations) Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) Kotte Satish was caught by the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for demanding a bribe of Rs.75,000 from a complainant.
He was caught at his chamber at TGSPDCL Gachibowli Sub Division at Cyber city circle. The ACB officials said Satish demanded Rs.75,000 as bribe and accepted two part amount of Rs.50,000 from the complainant for doing official favour.
The bribe was demanded for an already approved work completion report related to the installation of a new transformer and CT meter at an apartment and for the approval of a work completion report dated January 28, 2025, forwarded by the AE office.
The report pertained to another electrical work related to one more consumer. Earlier, the part one amount of Rs.25,000 was already accepted by Satish. The tainted amount of Rs.50,000 was recovered from the possession of Satish from his office table in his chamber.
Both hands of Satish and the left side office table draw of his chamber yielded positive results in a chemical test. The details of the complainant were withheld for security reasons, the ACB officials added.
