Hyderabad:Southern discom chairman and managing director Musharraf Ali Faruqui has ordered disciplinary action against four senior officials for involvement in corruption, dereliction of their duties and staying absent as well as in response complaints from consumers.
The officials against whom action was taken include E. Ambedkar, assistant divisional engineer from Ibrahimbagh who was attached to the corporate office; Sandeep Reddy, assistant engineer from Narsing who was suspended; divisional engineers from Ibrahimbagh Shiva Shankar and A. Gnaneshwar Rao were served memoes.
In a statement, Musharraf Ali said that any employee who failed to perform duty, indulged in corruption or any immoral activity and created trouble for the consumers would not be spared.
