Thunderstorms, Gusty Winds Forecast Across Several Telangana Districts
According to the forecast, heavier rainfall activity is expected in the coming days in districts such as Jaya Shankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Warangal, and Hanumakonda.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in several parts of Telangana over the next two days.
Officials said gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kmph are also likely during this period.
According to the forecast, heavier rainfall activity is expected in the coming days in districts such as Jaya Shankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Warangal, and Hanumakonda. These areas may experience thunderstorms with lightning and stronger winds reaching 40 to 50 kmph.
In other districts, scattered light to moderate showers with thunderstorms and gusty winds are likely, the weather department said.
The Met Centre also noted that maximum temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged for the next two days. However, a gradual decline of 2 to 3°C is likely over the subsequent three days.
