Tiger Re-enters Tadvai Forest in Mulugu

Warangal: The tiger, which had entered Bhadradri Kothagudem district and gone out, has re-entered the forest region of Tadvai mandal in Mulugu district.

Forest officials, who spotted the pugmarks of the tiger, confirmed that the big cat was roaming in the Tadvai forest regions on Tuesday.’

Forest range officer Sattaiah said that they spotted the tiger’s pugmarks at Gouraram wagu near Narsapur. The animal might have gone towards Chouledu and Keshav Puram villages.

The tiger took shelter in the forest regions of Mangapet, Tadvai, Karakagudem and Gundala villages over past one week and entered Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts.

It has been creating panic among people in Gundala and Allapalli mandals of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, over past three days.

Meanwhile, forest officials closely monitored the tiger’s movements and are taking all kinds of steps to prevent mutual dangers to people and the tiger.

In 2020, the tiger had entered Allapalli mandal and killed a farmer and a cow. In view of that, officials issued warnings to people urging them to stay alert.
