Hyderabad: A case was filed on Wednesday against the builder and homeowner for allegedly violating excavation regulations, which caused a building in Siddique Nagar, Madhapur, to tilt dangerously. As the building began to lean, more than 30 residents were evacuated, and officials subsequently demolished the unstable structure on-site to prevent further hazards.
According to Madhapur SHO D. Krishna Mohan, the case was registered against the builder, Srinu, and the owner, Yaseen Khan. They are accused of excavating the ground to construct a cellar without adhering to proper excavation protocols.
The complaint was lodged by the assistant city planner, triggering the legal action against the responsible parties.
