Hyderabad: The city woke up to yet another hazy day on Tuesday morning owing to cyclone Fengal.
With the winter chill slightly taking a back seat, the city is witnessing a monsoon like weather over the past few days.
Independent weather analyst, T Balaji, popular as Telangana Weatherman, said in a social media post, "Forget about winter's next 7 days, mini rainy season ahead."
"Hyderabad city expected to get 'on and off' spells of rain during afternoon - midnight just like yesterday," he added.
He predicted that the rains will continue till December 9. On a lighter note, the weather predictor said "It's time to carry raincoats instead of sweaters."
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad in their weekly Weather bulletin stated that the State might witness light to moderate rains in isolated areas till December 8.
The met department in their weather forecast for Tuesday said, "Cloudy sky. Mist or Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. Light rain or drizzle is very likely to occur in parts of the city. Maximum and Minimum Temperatures are likely to be around 29 C and 22 C respectively."
