TMC Registers Cases Against 11 Fake Doctors in Nizamabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) on Tuesday registered cases against 11 fake doctors in Nizamabad district following inspections last month. The accused, operating as unqualified rural medical practitioners (RPMs), were found violating medical regulations.

Four of the culprits have been remanded in police custody, and cases were registered under the BNS and the NMC Act. These individuals were found to be practicing allopathy without the required MBBS qualifications, which could result in a jail sentence of up to one year and fines of up to Rs 5 lakh.

The list of arrested individuals includes Boddu Venkatesh Reddy from Sri Sai Srinivas First Aid Centre (FAC), V. Suresh from Gauri Shankar FAC, and M. Prakash from Venkata Sai FAC in Banswada.

In Dichpalli, R. Rajasekhar from Manasa Hospital, M Venkateshwar from Manikantha FAC, S. Dhatadri from Prashanth Clinic, and Goli Sandeep from Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Clinic, are in custody.

Kanula Gangadhar from Sri Sai Ganga Clinic, Sur Mahesh Kumar from Sur FAC, M. Vittal Singh from Pragathi FAC, and Mallesham from Chandan Clinic in Nizamabad were also booked.
