Blue T-shirts of the Indian team were in the ‘must buy’ list of countless fans. It was likewise for the tricolored flags. It is expected that fans will take out victory rallies on their bikes and cars across the city amid bursting of firecrackers after the Men in Blue trump the opponents.
Some enthusiasts have planned house parties, while some are planning to enjoy the match on the big screens put up at pubs and sports bars.
Anil Bang, owner of a pub, said, “All the tables have been reserved in advance. Our chefs are coming up with the special menus for the day, while the mixologist will serve the finest of international beverages.”
A club has arranged big screens for their members and families, said S.R. Vijay Raj. “We initially planned a large screen in the open ground but as the weather is unpredictable, we restricted the screening to only indoors,” he said.
