HYDERABAD: A case was registered against an unidentified traffic cop for allegedly touching a 19-year-old boy inappropriately in the pretext of a lift, within the Saidabad police station limits on Tuesday. The case was registered under Sections 131, 352 and 75(1)(i) of the BNS.
According to Saidabad inspector Raghuvendra, the traffic cop is yet to be identified.
On December 7, a 19-year-old going on a bike near RTC Colony was stopped by the traffic cop, who asked him for a lift. While dropping him to his concerned location, the cop allegedly touched private parts.
On December 8, the youth lodged a complaint with the Saidabad police. On December 10, a case was registered against the traffic cop.
