Traffic Diversions at IIIT Junction for Flyover Works

Hyderabad:Traffic diversions have been enforced around IIIT junction under Cyberabad Commissionerate limits due to ongoing multi-level flyover and underpass construction. Officials said the measures aim to regulate movement in one of the city’s busiest IT corridors.
Traffic from Gachibowli junction towards Lingampally is being diverted via Wipro junction, Gowli Doddi, Gopanpally junction and Nallagandla. Commuters from Gopanpally thanda, Financial District, Q-City and Kokapet towards IIIT junction are rerouted via Wipro junction to Nanakramguda Rotary, merging onto the ORR before reaching Gachibowli.
Vehicles from Lingampally and HCU areas towards Gachibowli, Kothaguda or Mehdipatnam are diverted at SMR/HCU bus depot via Masjid Banda, Sriramnagar and Botanical junction before rejoining near Gachibowli.
Restrictions are in force between 8 am and 1 pm. Police said construction may continue for at least a year, urging commuters, especially IT employees, to follow diversion routes and cooperate with traffic personnel.
