Hyderabad: Cyberabad Traffic Police on Thursday announced traffic diversions in view of the remodelling of the stormwater drains by the GHMC in Kukatpally and for the Ijtema programme in Shankarpally. For drains remodelling, curbs will be in place for 15 days from January 4.
Traffic from Hydernagar towards Nizampet village will be diverted at GPR Cinemas, left turn, Konaseema Tiffin Centre, Left turn, Kolan Raghava Reddy Function Hall, and Nizampet village. An additional diversion route from the same junction would be towards Addagutta, left turn, Konaseema Tiffin Centre, left turn, Kolan Raghava Reddy Function Hall, and Nizampet village.
Traffic from Nizampet village towards Nizampet crossroads will be diverted at Kolan Raghava Reddy Function Hall, left turn, Thulasinagar crossroads, right turn, HMT Ramalayam, and JNTU.
For the programme in Shankarpally, traffic for heavy vehicles from Tandur and Vikarabad towards Patancheru will be diverted through Mominpet and Sadashivapet, heading towards Sangareddy, and Patancheru. Vehicles will not be permitted to pass through Chevella, Shankarpally, BDL, or Bhanoor.
Heavy vehicles from Tandur and Vikarabad towards Sangareddy, BDL, and Patancheruvu will be diverted via Chevella, TSPA, and ORR entry. They will have to take ORR Exit-3 at Muttangi towards the toll gate. These vehicles will not be allowed to pass through Shankarpally.
Heavy vehicles coming from BDL, Patancheruvu towards Vikarabad, and Tandur will be diverted at Kandi, Sangareddy, Sadasivapet, Mominpet, Peddemul, Vikarabad, and Tandur.
Heavy vehicles from Bengaluru Highway, Shadnagar towards Sangareddy (Mumbai Highway) and heavy vehicles from Bengaluru Highway, and Shadnagar towards Sangareddy (Mumbai Highway) will be diverted at Shamshabad ORR, Narsingi, and ORR Exit-3 at Muttangi toll gate, Patancheru, Mumbai Highway.
Heavy vehicles from Sangareddy (Mumbai Highway) towards Shadnagar will have to take Patancheru ORR Exit-3 at Muttangi toll gate, Shamshabad Exit-16, Shadnagar, and Bengaluru Highway.
Heavy vehicles from Narsingi to Vikarabad will be diverted towards TSPA, Moinabad, Chevella, and Vikarabad.
