Hyderabad: The TS Higher Education Council (TSCHE) on Friday unveiled the counselling schedule for admission into engineering colleges for 2024. The process will be conducted in three phases. In the first phase on June 27, students can begin exercising their web options starting from June 30. The seat allotment for the first phase will take place on July 12.
The second phase will begin on July 19, with seat allotment slated for July 24. The final phase will commence on July 30, with the allocation of seats scheduled for August 5. In addition, the internal sliding process will start on August 12, and seats will be allotted on August 16. Spot admission guidelines will be issued on August 17, providing students with another opportunity to secure a place.
Candidates must present a series of documents during the verification process. These include the TS Eapcet 2023 rank card and hall ticket, Aadhaar card, marksheets from Class 6, transfer certificate from the last attended school, Intermediate or its equivalent memo-cum-pass certificate, and income certificate issued after 01.01.2023 if applicable.
Additional documents such as certificates for caste, residence for non-local candidates, and for physically challenged candidates, children of armed personnel, NCC/Sports/Minority status, may also be required.
Post-verification, candidates will need to fill in their course choices online, prioritising their preferences among the participating institutes and courses. Seat allotment will be determined based on the candidates' ranks in the TS Eapcet exam and their selected preferences, with announcements made online.
Upon receiving a seat allotment, candidates must pay the admission fee, which can be processed either online or offline. Finally, candidates who have paid the fee must report to their allotted institutes, with reporting dates and times provided by the respective institutions.
