Hyderabad: A lineman of TSSPDCL working in Bowenpally won appreciation from everyone especially from the Hyderabad police after he handed over Rs.2 lakh in cash found on the main road in Lalapet on Monday.
The linemen Satish, a resident of Lalapet was going from Sri Ayyappa Swamy temple in the locality by foot when he found the cash in a cover. With the help of City Youth Congress leader Kishore Yadav, Satish came to Lalaguda police station and handed over the cash to the police.
The police officials, however, said the cash would be handed over to the person concerned if anyone approaches them with relevant documents or else the cash would be given to the Income Tax (I-T) department for further action.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
