Tudum Debba senior leader Uyke Sanjeev dies of ill health
ADILABAD: A senior leader of the Tudum Debba Uyke Sanjeev, 50, , died of ill health early on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Adilabad town. He served as the state general secretary of Thudum Debba and was a native of Sangvi village in Bela mandal of Adilabad district.
Sanjeev’s funeral was held in his native Sangvi, with Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju and former MLA Atram Sakku participating to pay homage to the departed soul. A large number of adivasis from across the erstwhile Adilabad district attended the funeral.
Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh, Asifabad MLA Kova Laxmi, former MP Soyam Bapu Rao, senior Congress leader Atram Suguna, Tudum Debba state co-convener Godam Ganesh, and many other leaders expressed shock over Sanjeev’s death. They extended their condolences to his family and recalled his significant contributions to Adivasi movements.
